The Los Angeles Dodgers kicked off their 2023 postseason by losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks in shocking fashion in Game 1 of their National League Division Series, 11-3.
Clayton Kershaw had a nightmare start for the Dodgers, as he was pulled after giving up six runs in the top of the first inning. The Diamondbacks added three more runs in the second inning to take a commanding 9-0 lead over a Los Angeles team that won 100 games in the regular season.
Dodgers left fielder David Peralta drew the ire of fans everywhere when he celebrated on second base after hitting a double in the bottom of the second with his team trailing by nine runs.
