Rangers’ Adolis Garcia Celebrated Go-Ahead Home Run vs. Astros With an Epic Bat Spike

Published on

Rangers All-Star Adolis Garcia may have given MLB fans the most electric home run celebration of the postseason on Friday after mashing a clutch moonshot in Game 5 of the ALCS.

With Texas trailing, 2–1, Garcia blasted the first pitch from Astros ace Justin Verlander into the stands for a massive three-run go-ahead homer.

Garcia’s bomb sent Rangers fans into a frenzy as the team took a 4–2 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning, but it was the two-time All-Star’s epic bat spike before rounding the bases that made the sensational moment even more special.

As the ALCS comes down to the wire, the momentum built by Garcia’s home run could be enough to propel Texas to a crucial Game 5 victory.

Friday’s big-time play marked Garcia’s second homer versus Houston; he has now logged five hits and six RBI in 18 at-bats.
