The results are in, and even though they seemed obvious going into it, both Gunnar Henderson of the Baltimore Orioles and Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks have made history for their respective clubs.

Henderson, representing the American League, and Carroll, representing the National League, were named the 2023 Jackie Robinson Rookies of the Year. The award was given to both players, unanimously, marking the first time since 2017 (Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger) that unanimous winners were named.

Carroll is the first D-backs player ever to win the award.
