Today I will share shortstop and third base fantasy player rankings.
As I have done before, I am listing only those players I believe will start the season at the respective position. I do that, because that’s where I believe the at-bats will be for both positions.
As we enter the final articles about fantasy baseball planning next week, I will list outfielders, pitchers, and reserve utility players that may have draft appeal.
With regard to both shortstop and third base players, I will likely favor those players from winning baseball teams. In most cases, they score the most runs, and are more reliable.
Here is the number of runs scored for each MLB team in 2023. The stats jump out at us. It is no coincidence that the winning teams-those they usually play deeply into the playoffs-score runs.
Players from teams that score runs should be the focal point of your drafts.
