Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Reese Olson has had an awesome start to the 2024 season. He’s also had a terrible start to the 2024 season.

Olson has been living in a strange dichotomy, where he’s pitched terrifically but his team hasn’t given him any run support.

To make matters worse, he had to leave Monday night’s game against the Kansas City Royals due to a screamer that came back at him over 101 mph and nailed him in the left hip.

Olson wanted to continue, but the Tigers pulled him out of an abundance of caution. Unfortunately, it was the most 2024 Reese Olson thing to happen to him so far this season.
